Course Description

Astronomy is often described as the oldest or first science. Despite its long history, some of the newest and most exciting present day scientific discoveries come from studying our Universe. This camp will teach foundational concepts within the field of astronomy and space exploration. Hands-on activities will enhance student learning on topics such as locating and tracking celestial objects, the internal processes of the Sun, stellar evolution, and the expansion of the Universe.

Course Outline

This camp is for Incoming 9th- 12th Grade, and Incoming PAC Freshmen!

Notes

Age range: Incoming 9th- 12th Grade, and Incoming PAC Freshmen

Camp Times: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Lunch Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

(You can drop your child off as early as 7:00 a.m. and pick them up no later than 6:00 p.m.)
