The Brackenridge Education Center formally known as the Eastside Community Education & Technology Center opened in the Spring of 2000 and was housed at the St. Paul United Methodist Church on the second floor. BETC is committed to helping students by providing preliminary college enrollment processing assistance and workforce training opportunities to prospective and/or former students who are interested in attending any of the Alamo Colleges. Since the inception of BETC, the center has served over 40,000 students. BETC serves as a “one-stop center” that meets community members where they are and provide academic and workforce training for student success.
