Course Description

Adventure awaits for high school students at our 4-week summer drone camp. Launch into an immersive experience and learn about becoming a commercial drone pilot and the career opportunities in this rapidly growing field. Students will receive expert instruction designed to prepare them for the FAA certification exam, as well as fly DJI commercial drones to develop their maneuvering skills as a pilot. Come fly with us for a summer of discovery, empowerment, and aerial adventures!

Please note: Camp will not be held on June 19, 2026.

 

Course Outline

This camp is open to high school students, including incoming freshmen and recent high school graduates!

Notes

Age range: High school students, incoming freshmen and recent high school graduates!
Camp Times: 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM
Lunch Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
LUNCH IS PROVIDED! 
Snacks will be included as part of the registration fee. (This does not include breakfast.)
(You can drop your camper off as early as 7:00 AM and pick them up no later than 6:00 PM)
Drop-off Location: Brazos Hall (Bldg. #22)

Registration Deadline: May 29, 2026 by 8 a.m.
Registration cancellation requests made after the drop request deadline will NOT receive a refund.
No transfer of camp is allowed. You will need to drop from the camp and purchase another one.
